Playground Minor Works Update
The surfacing and minor works to the lower playground area commenced on Monday 3rd February 2025 and continued over the half-term break.
The tarmac surfacing, sand pit, gravel pit, and most of the fencing are now complete. Unfortunately, the wet weather over Thursday and Friday of lat week has delayed the installation of the wet pour area surrounding the apparatus.
The contractors will be on-site first thing tomorrow morning to set up Harris fencing around the wet pour area, with the aim of starting installation on Tuesday, weather permitting. They will also be finishing up by securing some remaining fence panels on Monday.
With respect to health & safety, we will continue to impress on the children the importance of keeping clear of this area until the works are finally completed and we would ask that you reinforce this message as well.
