Welcome back from the PTA! We have not yet assigned PTA roles for the incoming year but wanted to ensure all the regular events were catered for… Please find below information about upcoming projects. We would also love you to plan to join us at the PTA AGM meeting on Thursday 27th October at 7.30pm in the school.
School Fees and Gift Aid School fees are now due, the suggested minimum donation for this is £15 for one pupil or £25 for a family. This is an important source of income for our school and allows the PTA to plan events and make improvements that increase the pupils school experience. Please return these by bank transfer, referencing the pupil’s name(s). Bank details: Creavery PTA Sort Code: 950679 Account Number: 30198218 Alternatively these can be returned via a cheque made to ‘Creavery PTA’ or as cash. The amount of your donation is increased by completing the attached Gift Aid form. Please return this asap.
Cash for Clobber Clothing Recycling, Tuesday 16th November. The PTA are again organising a collection of unwanted clothing as part of CTR’s CASH FOR CLOBBER scheme. They will accept all types of clothing and pairs of shoes (they would prefer these bagged to keep pairs together). The school will then receive money for this based on the weight of what is collected. So please collect your unwanted clothing over the next couple of weeks and bring them in on Thursday 17th November at the start of the school day. “CTR’s Cash for Clobber scheme, which we run in conjunction with Eco-Schools Northern Ireland, aims to teach school children, community groups, sports organisations, etc, the environmental and social benefits of recycling while raising significant valuable funds for themselves.”
Design your own Christmas card. Please return by Friday 14th October. Each year the PTA provides the opportunity for pupils to design their own Christmas cards. The paperwork from this is being sent home with this update. There will also be the opportunity to buy other items with your child’s artwork on them as Christmas gifts. These are to be completed at home and are to be returned to school by ideally by Friday 14th October but Monday 17th October at the very latest. Guidance: your child’s design needs to be completed using felt tip pens. Please use strong colours. Black outlines are advisable to ensure the design remains clear.
Creavery School Calendar. Reply slip due by 20th October. Photos on 27th October. For the incoming 2023 year, the PTA will be producing a school calendar with group photos of the pupils. In order for the children to be able to take part and be photographed for this, the reply slip below must be returned to the school by Thursday 20th October. Photos will be taken on the 27th October weather permitting. (May be postponed to the next dry day).
